Biography
Bethan joined the Chiropractic world at a young age, when her family used to visit their Chiropractor for regular adjustments. Her interest in the profession grew as she saw first-hand the amazing results Chiropractic can achieve. She trained at the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic and graduated with a Masters degree (Distinction).
After graduating, Bethan moved to Essex to work in a family practice, where she worked alongside a large team of Chiropractors and massage therapists.
As a Bristol-girl at heart, she was very pleased to be offered the opportunity in September 2011 to return to the city and its friendly, community atmosphere. She spent eighteen months working within a baby and pregnancy orientated clinic. She has now decided to set up in business alone and is based in Clifton. Bethan also works part-time at the Family Chiropractic Centre in Bradford-on-Avon and has done since 2011.
■ Bethan has completed post-graduate training courses in Sacro-Occipital Technique (SOT), a gentle technique that can be effective for patients of all ages, shapes and sizes.
■ Bethan also works with the relationship between spinal alignment and muscle tightness. She addresses any imbalance through soft tissue work and by prescribing home exercises.
■ Bethan has completed post-graduate training in Medical Acupuncture / Dry Needling and uses this for some patients to complement their Chiropractic care.
